No?

Terd - Oh I dunno, the croquetas at Jose / Barrafina are a thing of beauty.

Jamina - Ah, I wish I'd seen your recommendations before I went. I too loved Cadiz (though not particularly the new town part) and am now wishing we'd spent longer there!Hollow Legshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07152329184111658897noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4148635935379992641.post-19810741449324801052013-10-24T11:40:23.701+01:002013-10-24T11:40:23.701+01:00We did the exact opposite of your trip - started i...We did the exact opposite of your trip - started in Cadiz for four days and then went to Seville. We found the food in Cadiz was a lot more variable in quality than Seville and went through quite a few duds before finding some gems on the last day (of course) in the Barrio del Populo. Had some delicious chorizo in cider at La Sidreria for lunch and then went back to the same area to the Meson de la Posadilla where we also had some lovely not-the-fried-kind chicharrones and other piggy delights. I loved Seville but fell in love with the olde world charms of Cadiz. And the beaches!Ginglesnuffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00254189538193183395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4148635935379992641.post-6770019646679504312013-10-22T20:39:36.879+01:002013-10-22T20:39:36.879+01:00Some great dishes there. Spain's such a great fest for piggy fare.

I've always thought croquetas among the most overrated and overpriced of foodstuffs though, both here in London and in Spain, but especially here.

Terdnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4148635935379992641.post-72344130988690112182013-10-22T15:43:20.680+01:002013-10-22T15:43:20.680+01:00Poo on crisps: hilario.
